Oklahoma House Passes Joint Resolution 54

Senate Joint Resolution 54 has passed the House and is awaiting a concurrence vote in the Senate. SJR 54 instructs the Oklahoma Department of Agriculture, Food and Forestry to work with an Oklahoma higher education institution offering gunsmith curriculum to develop strategies to encourage firearm manufacturers to locate in gun-friendly Oklahoma. Existing economic incentives are to be extended to the firearms industry as inducement to relocate existing plants.
