The Oklahoma legislature has unanimously approved Senate Joint Resolution 54. This resolution encourages firearm companies to locate manufacturing plants in Oklahoma. With some firearm manufactures located in "un-friendly" states and under constant attack by trial lawyers looking to blame crime on law-abiding gun owners, Oklahoma believes that these businesses will find solace in relocating. Please contact Senator Jay Paul Gumm (D), the principal author of the resolution and thank him for making Oklahoma proud of its firearm heritage. Sen. Gumm can be contacted at (405) 521-5586.
