Bermuda’s firearms amnesty has yet to yield its first working firearm, although a number of bullets have been handed in. More than 20 items have been surrendered to Police over the nine days of the amnesty, which runs until December 13. A flare, a knife, a Police-style baton, a toy pistol, two flare guns, a bow and arrow, a cap gun, a pellet rifle and a paintball gun have been removed from Bermuda’s streets over the past week.
