Gardeners at Living History Farms in Urbandale have tried nearly everything to protect their historical gardens from deer that feast on the greenery. They have sprayed, relocated crops and lined a historical garden with tiger dung from the Blank Park Zoo and human hair from a barber in an attempt to ward off munching deer.
