Female Gun Enthusiasts Take Aim

Ladies: Want to assert some independence? Firing a shotgun a few hundred times should do the trick. The doors will be closed to men at the Geary County Fish and Game Association on Saturday as women take up their shotguns and partake in an event all their own. Women On Target, an instructional shooting clinic sponsored by the National Rifle Association, will take place from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. Beginners and seasoned shooters are welcome, and one restriction will stand firm.
