Thanks to all your hard work and phone calls--Right to Carry in Missouri is one step away from becoming law. The Missouri State Senate passed Right to Carry on Monday, May 5, by a vote of 23-7. House Bill 349, sponsored by Representative Larry Crawford (R-117), would establish a system for Missouri residents to obtain concealed carry permits. For the first time, any law-abiding citizen who takes a training course, would receive a permit to carry a concealed firearm for personal protection.
Despite the overwhelming support of HB 349 in the Missouri Legislature, Governor Bob Holden (D) is considering vetoing this important bill. Please contact the Governor`s office, and respectfully urge him to "SUPPORT" HB 349, by granting Missouri’s law-abiding citizens the same right to self protection that citizens already have in 35 other states.
