A bill to let qualified people carry concealed weapons took another step forward Wednesday. The Missouri Senate Pensions and General Laws committee endorsed the bill 5-3, sending it to the full Senate. The bill passed the House last month. Gov. Bob Holden has said he would veto the measure, but it may have enough support for a veto override.
