Illinois State House to Vote on HB 2356

Tuesday, April 8, the Illinois State House will be voting on HB 2356, also known as the Daley Gun Show Ban. HB 2356, would impose an additional tax on all private transfers of firearms. This would do nothing to prevent violent crime, but instead place greater restrictions on all law-abiding gun owners. In this case, the power to tax will clearly be the power to destroy.

The vote on HB 2356 will be very close, so it is more important than ever that you please contact your Representatives and respectfully let them know that you would like them to vote "NO" on HB 2356. Please make the call today. Your Representative could be the difference between an unnecessary tax and a victory for all Illinois law-abiding gun owners and sportsmen.
