Many people considered filmmaker Michael Moore`s antiwar tirade at the Academy Awards to be the height of bad manners, judging by the loud boos he received from an otherwise sympathetic audience. In truth, it may just have been the height of hypocrisy. Moore, whose Bowling For Columbine won the Oscar for best documentary feature, invited his fellow documentarians on stage as he railed against the "fictions" perpetrated by U.S. President George W. Bush.
