candidate Anthony J. Narutowicz's stand on gun control. Narutowicz
and his business partner were leaving a bank in the Baltimore suburb
of Dundalk when a van pulled up beside them. The van's door swung
open and two armed men demanded money. Both Narutowicz and his
partner quickly pulled their own legally carried weapons and opened
fire. The van sped away. Police found the abandoned vehicle later,
pockmarked with bullet holes and stained with blood.
