After being raped in her apartment, an Atlanta, Ga., woman
borrowed a gun from a friend for protection. A month later the
woman heard her window being smashed in the early morning hours.
When a man wielding a screwdriver entered her bedroom, she fired.
The intruder fled but collapsed a short distance away. Police
charged him with the earlier rape.
