A Centerville, Tenn., store clerk was confronted by an armed
robber and ordered to get down behind a counter. Tony Dotson
complied, and in the process grabbed the pistol he kept there. The
clerk shot and wounded the would-be robber. "I knew he was going to
kill me," Dotson said. "It was either him or me."
