Retired Troy, N.Y., police officer William Gilley and his
wife were relaxing on a boat dock when a man approached, saying he
had a gun and wanted their money. The 68-year-old Gilley said he
had to get his wallet from his van, but pulled a handgun from under
the seat instead and held the would-be robber for police.
