A Stratham, N.H., resident who had sustained five previous burglaries readied a shotgun and concealed himself after noticing a car repeatedly driving by his home. When a youthful, knife-wielding housebreaker climbed through a window, the homeowner confronted him and held him until police arrived. Two suspected accomplices were arrested in the incident.
