APPEARS IN Gun Laws

The Tribune, San Diego, CA

Tuesday, June 1, 1982

Dennis Gray had kept a rusty old .38 in his hall closet for almost 30 years, long enough for the ammunition to start to corrode in the cylinder. But when a burglar broke down the door of his San Diego, Calif., home, the gun did its part. Gray opened up, hitting the criminal in the neck and putting him to flight.
