Geraldine Riddick was watching television in her Virginia
Beach, Va., home when she heard a light tapping at the front door.
By the time she reached the door, the tapping came from a side door.
Suspicious, she retrieved her husband's pistol and went to
investigate. When a pair of burglars broke down the back door, she
was waiting, gun in hand, to hold them for police.
