Florida: Pro-Industry Legislation Scheduled for House Committee Hearing

Tomorrow at 8:30 a.m., the House Judiciary Committee will hear important pro-industry legislation providing liability protections to the firearm industry. Please use the Take Action button below to contact members of the House Judiciary Committee and urge them to SUPPORT HB 1551

HB 1551 provides needed product liability protections for firearm manufacturers by clarifying that manufacturers may not be held liable for claims based on the absence or presence of certain design features, safety mechanisms, or technologies that are not required under federal law.

The NRA-ILA will continue to monitor these measures and keep you informed of further developments affecting your Second Amendment rights in Florida.
