Arkansas: Thanks to Your Calls and Emails, Anti-Gun Legislation was Deferred

Thanks to your calls and emails, House Bill 1265, anti-gun legislation which sought to make the lawful open carry of firearms subject to the same regulations as concealed carry, was placed on the deferred calendar. It is likely to stay on the deferred calendar for the remainder of session. Your NRA-ILA will continue to monitor this legislation and will alert you to any changes in HB 1265’s status throughout the 2017 legislative session.
