South Carolina: 2017 Session Convenes This Week

The 1st Regular Session of the 122nd South Carolina General Assembly will convene on Tuesday, January 10.  Your NRA-ILA anticipates a busy legislative schedule over the next two years, and we will work to ensure that our rights protected under the Second Amendment will continue to flourish in The Palmetto State.

One of our goals is to pass H. 3240, introduced by state Representative Alan Clemmons (R-107), which would establish that South Carolina recognizes all valid Right-to-Carry (RTC) permits issued by other states.  Please click the “Take Action” button below to contact your state Representative and politely urge them to support the passage of H. 3240.

There are a number of bills that have already been filed, and we will be updating you on their status in the near future so that you will be prepared to make your voice heard in support of the Second Amendment and our hunting heritage.  To help with our efforts, please continue to check www.NRAILA.org and your email inbox for NRA-ILA alerts on the latest action items.  Your NRA-ILA will continue to keep you up to date on all Second Amendment and hunting related legislation.
