Anti-Gun Coalition Calls for “West Coast Ban” on Commonly-Owned Semi-Auto Firearms

NRA members and Second Amendment supporters are called upon now more than ever to get involved in the upcoming elections to ensure that pro-gun and pro-hunting candidates are elected.

In a press conference this week, Anti-gun groups from Washington and Oregon called for a ban on popular and commonly-owned semi-automatic firearms.  This ban is right out of the Bloomberg/Clinton playbook and would do nothing to prevent crime.  Criminals, by definition, do not follow the laws and will continue to obtain their firearms illegally, like they always have.  This ban would only affect law-abiding gun owners who use these firearms for recreational target shooting, hunting, and self-defense.

Stand up and fight in 2016 to make sure that you are well-represented in 2017.  If you are in Washington state, please visit www.NRAPVF.org for ratings and endorsements of candidates in the August 2nd Primary Election.

There has never been a time more important than this election cycle to make sure we elect pro-gun candidates. This is why we urge you to not only check NRA-PVF to find out where your candidates stand, but also to join us on the FrontLines™ and pledge to support and vote for NRA backed candidates.  Be sure to have your family, friends and fellow Second Amendment supporters do the same.  With everything that is at stake this year, your support this election cycle has never been more critical.
