Homeowner shoots home invader in crime-stricken neighborhood, Click2Houston, Houston, Texas 03/01/16

A homeowner in Houston, Texas was alerted to a break-in when a man broke a window near one of his doors in order to gain access to the house. The homeowner retrieved a gun, went to investigate, and came upon the home invader. Responding to the threat, the homeowner shot and killed the intruder.

Following the incident, the homeowner’s neighbors said the nearby incident of self-defense was not surprising, as the area has recently been a target for criminals. (Click2Houston, Houston, Texas 03/01/16)
