San Francisco’s restrictive gun laws may soon get even tighter.
The city’s 2007 law requiring residents to keep handguns locked in a container at home or disabled with a trigger lock would apply to all guns under legislation Supervisor Mark Farrell plans to introduce Tuesday. It would also update the legislation to require that guns be stored in state Department of Justice-approved lock boxes.
