A 2013 law that limited ammunition magazines to 15 rounds or less is headed for repeal by the Colorado Senate because, in the words of former Weld County Sheriff John Cooke, the measure is "vague, ambiguous and overbroad."
Cooke in January was sworn in as a state senator, and he and fellow Republican Chris Holbert, a Parker senator, teamed up to sponsor a bill repealing the magazine limits.
