California: Wanted: Sunnyvale Residents Interested in Joining NRA Lawsuit Challenging Magazine Ban

Wednesday, October 30, 2013

On November 5, residents of Sunnyvale will vote on a measure that would ban the possession of so-called “large capacity magazines,” defined as ammunition feeding devices capable of holding more than ten rounds.  The NRA has been closely monitoring the escalating situation in Sunnyvale and working to oppose this pending ballot measure.  Should Sunnyvale voters approve this law, it will take effect in early 2014 and residents will then have ninety days to surrender their magazines or remove them from the city.

If this measure passes, your NRA California legal team at Michel & Associates is prepared to immediately file a Second Amendment civil rights lawsuit to prevent this new law from taking effect and have it declared unconstitutional.

If you are a resident of Sunnyvale in lawful possession of a “large capacity magazine” and are interested in participating in this lawsuit, please contact Michel & Associates as soon as possible.  All communication with the NRA’s attorneys will be confidential, and as a plaintiff you would not be asked to finance any part of this lawsuit.

If you are not interested in joining the lawsuit, but would like to assist in the fight against this attack on law-abiding gun owners, you may donate to the NRA Legal Action Project here.
