Contact your state Representative in support of House Bill 533
House Bill 533, sponsored by state Representative Jeanie Riddle (R-49), is expected to be considered on the House floor this week. HB 533 would protect the right of a state employee to store a firearm in his or her private vehicle on state property as long as the vehicle is locked and the firearm is not visible. On March 28, this measure received a “do pass” recommendation by the House Rules Committee.
It is critical you contact your state Representative TODAY and urge them to support House Bill 533. Respectfully let them know that hard-working Missourians inherent right to self-defense should not end when they drive onto their state employer’s property.
