Pennsylvania: Hearing to Address Potential Outdoor Discharge of Firearm Ban in Londonderry Township

Londonderry Township in Chester County  will hold a Board of Supervisors' meeting on Monday, September 24 at 7:30 PM. It has come to our attention that during their regularly scheduled meeting, a hearing will take place to discuss amending the township code to include a new chapter regulating the outdoor discharge of firearms.

The proposed amendment, entitled the Outdoor Shooting Ordinance of Londonderry Township, would outlaw outdoor discharge of firearms within the Township except while lawfully hunting game. It would also require hunters to obtain written permission from the landowner and posses this documentation at all times. Please Click here for more information.
