Attend the Grand Opening of the Northern Arizona Shooting Range

Please Attend the Grand Opening of the Northern Arizona Shooting Range on Saturday, July 7, at 10:00 a.m.  The event will be hosted by the Arizona Game & Fish Department and the Northern Arizona Shooting Foundation.  The ribbon cutting ceremony will commence at 10:00 a.m., followed by a blessing and then the firing of the first Ceremonial Shot.  Some local and regional politicians and law enforcement staff have been invited and are expected to attend. 

Directions to Range:  East on I 40 from Flagstaff to Exit 211 – Winona;  Exit right and at the top of the Exit Ramp turn HARD RIGHT onto Forest Rd 82;  Follow FR 82 around a hill, then south about 2 miles (FR 82 becomes a gravel road about ½ mile off freeway); Turn RIGHT off FR 82 onto Forest Road 128 (a sign will be posted);  Drive about 4 miles West on FR 128 to Forest Road 128A;  Turn Right (South) on Forest Road 128A (a sign will be posted). Proceed about ¼ mile to Range Gate and parking.  There will be law enforcement stationed along the route to direct you and assist.  Dress is casual.
