Tennessee: Time is Running Out to Order Your NRA License Plates!

The deadline to reserve your very own Tennessee NRA license plate is fast approaching.  It you still haven’t reserved your NRA license plate, please do so TODAY.  For just $35.00 you could be one of the first in the state to receive this reflection of your steadfast dedication to preserving our cherished Second Amendment freedoms.  Time is of the essence and 1,000 applications are needed for the plates to begin production.  Your support of this program will help ensure hunting and shooting traditions in the Volunteer State for generations to come and show your support for NRA and America’s First Freedom.

Upon receiving the 1,000 applications prior to June 30, 2009, the National Rifle Association will submit a check for $35,000 to the Department of Revenue, Vehicle Services.  At this time, Vehicle Services will begin processing the specialized plate, which can take up to 3 to 6 months.  Upon completion of the specialized plate, the Tennessee Department of Revenue, Vehicle Services will mail a letter to each of the 1,000 applicants stating that the plate is ready to be picked up at their local County Clerk’s office.  Please retain the letter for your records, it may be required by your County Clerk’s office upon receipt of the Tennessee specialized NRA license plate.
