California: San Diego Shooting Range Needs Your Help!

Friday, May 23, 2008

Please Make Your Voice Heard Today!

A 61,000-square-foot state-of-the-art shooting facility is currently trying to open in San Diego. This range would provide valuable firearms training to our men and women in uniform prior to deployment overseas, as well as domestic law enforcement.

Without the Otay Mesa Facility, many soldiers and sailors in our nation's military could be sent into harm's way without some of the training they desperately need. We owe it to our servicemen and women not to let that happen. The facility will also provide law enforcement in and around San Diego with an indoor shooting range where they can practice in a controlled environment, mitigating noise complaints from the surrounding community.

Please contact Mayor Jerry Sanders and the San Diego City Council TODAY and respectfully urge them to allow the Blackwater Otay Mesa facility to open. The Mayor can be reached by phone at (619) 236-6330, by fax at (619) 236-7228, or email
[email protected]. Please let Mayor Sanders and the City Council know that you will be watching this issue closely and will keep this in mind when you go to the polls on Tuesday, June 3.
