The investigation relates to an upcoming movie by the duplicitous filmmaker. The Treasury Department’s Office of Foreign Assets Control has informed Moore that he is under investigation for possible violations of the U.S. trade embargo, which restricts travel to the Communist island nation. Apparently, Moore’s trip did not receive final authorization from Uncle Sam.
