The following pro-gun measures will be on the House floor early next week. Please contact your Delegate at (804)-698-1500 and respectfully urge him or her to support these important bills:
· HB2235, sponsored by Delegate David Nutter (R-7) would provide full recognition of out-of-state concealed carry permits.
· HB2547, authored by Delegate Charles Carrico (R-5) prohibits localities from restricting the carrying of firearms on public roads except for the purpose of hunting.
· HB2593, championed by Delegate William Janis (R-56) authorizes a Judge of the Commonwealth to carry a concealed firearm without obtaining a permit.
· HB3109, also sponsored by Delegate Janis reduces areas of localities where localities may restrict hunting and discharge.
