Fairfax, VA – The National Rifle Association Political Victory Fund (NRA-PVF) proudly announced its endorsement of Casey Cagle for Lieutenant Governor of Georgia this Election Day on November 7, 2006.
Chris W. Cox, NRA-PVF chairman, stated, “As a State Senator in his state, Casey Cagle has a perfect voting record on protecting Georgia gun owners’ Second Amendment rights. As a gun owner and avid sportsmen himself, Sen. Cagle is dedicated to gun owners and hunters in Georgia.”
As an elected official, Cagle supported Castle Doctrine, which gives law-abiding citizens in Georgia the right to protect themselves and their families from criminal attack. He also backed Right-to-Carry, Lawsuit Preemption, and No-Net-Loss of hunting lands in Georgia.
Because of his steadfast support of the Second Amendment and hunting issues, Casey Cagle has earned an “A+” rating from NRA-PVF, the highest possible grade granted to candidates.
“Georgia gun owners and sportsmen know Casey Cagle supports their gun rights and freedoms.” Cox concluded, “We urge all NRA members and gun owners to go out this November 7th and vote for Casey Cagle for Lieutenant Governor of Georgia.”
