Quality Hunting Opportunities in Monongahela National Forest are at Stake in the West Virginia Senate!

Friday, February 17, 2006

Please Contact your State Senator!

On Monday, February 20, the West Virginia Senate Natural Resources Committee is scheduled to consider an important resolution, Senate Concurrent Resolution No. 13, affecting hunting and wildlife in the Monongahela National Forest.

If passed, SCR 13 will help give the West Virginia Department of Natural Resources the tools they need to actively manage the Monongahela National Forest for quality hunting opportunities.

Please contact your State Senator at (304) 357-7867 to express your support for SCR 13 or e-mail members of the Senate Natural Resources Committee at:  www.legis.state.wv.us/committees/senate.

Strongly encourage your State Senator and members of the Committee to support SCR 13 and its common sense land management approach just as the West Virginia Department of Natural Resources supports it.
