Voter-approved restrictions on cougar and bear hunting could be lifted by counties under a bill approved by a House panel. The House Agriculture and Natural Resources Committee approved the bill Wednesday without advance notice as an amendment to a bill that would ban the use of remote-controlled weapons to shoot wildlife using the Internet.
