Please contact your Representatives and respectfully urge them to support HB 2439. HB 2439 seeks to correct the problem of local firearm ordinances, which results in a complex patchwork of restrictions from one jurisdiction to the next. The majority of states have enacted firearm preemption laws that prevent local jurisdictions from imposing ordinances more restrictive than laws passed by the state legislature.
