In W. Milford, Opinions Divided On Bear Hunt

Standing under a gloomy sky yesterday on Route 23 in West Milford, Kim McLaughlin held up a hand-made sign encouraging motorists to "Honk for the bears." McLaughlin was one of about 50 people who demonstrated yesterday to protest the recent killings of bears and a proposed bear hunt scheduled for December.
