Congressman Bob Barr (R-Ga,) is glad that the recent U.N. conference on small arms was not held on Bill Clinton`s watch. Had it been, he says, "the Second Amendment would have been subverted and the U.S. delegation would have caved, in favor of international appeasement or to curry favor with our erstwhile allies intent on diminishing freedom in their countries and whose leaders resent the freedoms enjoyed by our citizens."
