Texas Legislative Update

Governor George W. Bush on September 21, 1999 announced a grant to Texas Attorney General John Cornyn for $1.6 million to kick off Texas Exile. From this grant, $1.28 million will fund eight prosecutors to crack down on criminals who use guns, and $360,000 will fund a public awareness campaign.
