Patrons at a west side Torrance, California, eatery were
terified one evening when a customer allegedly pulled out a knife
and began threatening others inside the restaurant. Another
customer, who had a permit for carrying a firearm, was prepared and
answered the threat by drawing a handgun. Two of the Good
Samaritan's shots struck the arm of the knife-wielding man, ending
the chaotic episode.
