Ramona Wirt was preparing for the holidays when two men rang the doorbell of her Colorado Springs, Colo., home. Observing a strange car outside, the 57-year-old grandmother armed herself with a handgun. The pair began jimmying the sliding glass doors at the rear of the home; Wirt came around the corner, told them to get out, and fired. "Oh boy did they run," the homeowner said.
