When a knife-wielding robber attempted to grab Eliud
Franco's holstered revolver at his Rochester, N.Y., grocery store,
Franco drew the gun and fired, wounding the assailant. The would-be
thief was arrested by police and held pending charges of
first-degree attempted robbery.
