Suburban Wichita restaurant employee Bob Lawrence was on the
phone when suddenly he heard fellow worker Kerry Greathouse yell,
"Bob, tell them it's a robbery!" Greathouse had seen a man armed
with a .25 automatic enter the restaurant through the back door.
Greathouse ducked out of the restaurant, the gunman in pursuit and
firing. Greathouse, who had only that day begun to carry a gun to
work, returned fire, forcing the man to flee.
