Entering through a slashed screen, a knife-carrying intruder
struggled with an unidentified Columbus, Ohio, woman, then raped her
twice while her young children slept in the next room. When the
attacker fell asleep, the woman was able to get a pistol from the
closet and shoot him. Naked and bleeding, the rapist staggered from
the residence and was arrested shortly thereafter.
