Preparing to retire for the night, Mrs. J.W. Applegate, Las Vegas, Nev., opened a closet and found a man hiding there. She screamed. He scrammed. Her husband later found the intruder crouching behind their dining room table. Applegate held the man at gun point until police arrived.
