Today, the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee voted on longtime gun control lobbyist David Chipman’s nomination to lead ATF, resulting in an 11-11 party-line vote.

With the current 50-50 Senate breakdown, Chuck Schumer can now move to advance Chipman’s nomination to the U.S. Senate floor for consideration. 

Chipman has made it clear that he wants to ban commonly-owned firearms, register gun owners with the federal government, and use every tool at his disposal to attack the rights of law-abiding American gun owners. It is imperative that you contact your Senators TODAY and ask them to vote against and block Chipman’s nomination!
