Candidate Earns Highest NRA-PVF “A+” Rating
Fairfax, VA - The National Rifle Association Political Victory Fund (NRA-PVF) announces its endorsement of State Delegate Charles “Bill” Carrico (R-5) for re-election to the Virginia House of Delegates on November 6, 2007.
“Having served three terms in the Virginia General Assembly, Bill Carrico has proven his dedication to Virginia gun owners and sportsmen with a steadfast pro-Second Amendment record,” Chris W. Cox stated.
Throughout his tenure, Delegate Carrico has never wavered in his support for gun rights and the Second Amendment. Most recently he authored and introduced legislation to further protect gun owners by prohibiting local governments from fingerprinting concealed carry permit applicants.
Del. Carrico's longstanding advocacy for Virginia gun owners has earned him an “A+” rating from NRA-PVF, the highest possible grade awarded to candidates.
“Sportsmen and gun owners in Virginia trust Del. Carrico, and they know he will support and defend their Second Amendment rights,” Cox continued. “We urge all NRA members and gun owners in Virginia House District 5 to vote for Bill Carrico this November 6.”
Chris W. Cox serves as Executive Director and Chairman of NRA-PVF. The National Rifle Association Political Victory Fund is responsible for political candidate rankings. These are based on candidate voting records, public statements and responses to NRA-PVF questionnaires.
