NRA-PVF Endorses J.B. Van Hollen for Attorney General in Wisconsin’s GOP Primary

Monday, August 28, 2006

(Fairfax, VA) -- The National Rifle Association Political Victory Fund (NRA-PVF) is pleased to endorse J.B. Van Hollen in the September 12 Republican Primary for Wisconsin Attorney General.

"Law-abiding gun owners in Wisconsin have a steadfast friend in J.B. Van Hollen," said Chris W. Cox, Chairman of NRA - Political Victory Fund (PVF). "We are pleased to endorse Mr. Van Hollen for Wisconsin Attorney General, because we know he will protect the Second Amendment and help preserve the shooting sports for future generations."

A lifelong sportsman and gun owner, Mr. Van Hollen personally understands the importance of preserving Wisconsin’s rich hunting heritage.

Mr. Van Hollen is also a strong supporter of the citizen's right to self-defense. His unwavering support of the Personal Protection Act has been welcomed by NRA members throughout the state.  They can rest assured that he will continue his efforts to have Wisconsin become the 49th state to allow trained, law-abiding citizens the freedom to carry a concealed firearm for self-defense.

Mr. Van Hollen’s long history of working at the grassroots level to support the rights of gun owners and sportsmen has earned him an “A” rating and endorsement from NRA-PVF.

Cox concluded, “NRA-PVF urges all NRA members, gun owners and sportsmen in the Badger State to vote J.B. Van Hollen for Attorney General.”
