California: Assembly passes bill that would prohibit hunters from using dogs

A hotly contested bill that would ban the use of dogs to hunt bears and bobcats in California moved a step closer to becoming law Monday.
The state Assembly approved SB12212 on a party line vote after a lengthy debate, sending it back to the Senate for concurrence.
