Eoin Pryal of Northboro, a former rifleman with the British Territorial Army, is an assistant instructor at the Massachusetts Firearms School. Though Mr. Pryal is a legal immigrant married to a U.S. citizen and can possess a rifle or shotgun, he is prohibited by state law to keep a handgun in his home.
Last week, a federal judge ruled that state law contradicts the Second Amendment and that "lawful permanent resident aliens" should not be denied the right to own a handgun.
