Kentucky: Concealed Carry Reform Bill Passes in Committee and Goes to Senate Floor

Today, Senate Bill 60 passed in the state Senate Licensing, Occupations and Administrative Regulations Committee by voice vote and will now be considered by the full Senate.  Please call 800-372-7181 to register your SUPPORT for SB 60.

SB 60, sponsored by state Senator John Schickel (R-11), would reform the concealed carry permitting process by allowing instructors to issue training certificates to students who pass an accredited concealed carry course.  This bill would also allow for concealed carry permit holders to carry while in businesses whose primary profits are derived from the sale of alcoholic beverages.
